Oddly enough, I like nostalgic reviews, because it is an occasion to play the old and warmly beloved games that cause me that most pleasant feeling of nostalgia, even if some of them are strange objects of adoration. Hello everyone, Hamilton is with you, and today I suggest you get acquainted with my Relative Requiem, and this time the 2007 turtles-ninja turtles game.

Ninja turtles from its very appearance were a little strange, but interesting characters with their history, worked out the world and a solid setting. Could Kevin Eastman and Peter Lard, the creators of the original comics about the mutated reptiles, think about how hotly their brainchild will become beloved by numerous fans even to this day. Comics as classic turtles, full of cruelty of the original comics of 1984, which were conceived both a kind of parody of the Servilov and other popular superheroes then, and about a more stringent version of the young spectators, the beginning of the 90s are published and sold now around the world, a couple of years ago even a crossover with Batman was released a couple of years ago. With animated series and films, things are not as rosy as we would like. The 2012 animated restarts gave great hopes for the franchise and was generally even not bad, but due to the failure of the second film about turtles, which, like the first part, was covered by Michael Bay for the producing of Michael Bay for 5 season. The new restart of the series in September of this year was generally perceived by fans of bayonets because of all kinds of and pretty hesitated rethinking and gender-red changes. Alas, modern trends take their own, and if they take it, then in most cases they spoil, although they say that it is irreversible and original.

The video game industry is also far from perfect. The last few large games were rarely estimated above 5/10, and any person who has never felt these crafts can, with one quick look at the gameplay of these games, evaluate the game with the standard “meh”, and then forget about their existence. I can’t even believe that really good games about our young mutants in our time and during the day with fire you will not be found, which is why you have to turn to older projects. That the games on Segu and the dandy, that the ATV in the 2003 animated series could really attract an ordinary gamer for 4-5 hours of fun, especially they were often played in the company of friends, still we have 4 turtles 4. And unfortunately, but our patient today with a small stretch, but can be proudly called the last good game about turtles. And why it can be called so with a stretch we will find out throughout this review, to which, after the next long preface, we will finally cross.

So, in the yard 2007, undoubtedly considered one of the best in terms of the release of varying degrees of goodness of games and films. In March, a new full-length cartoon about ninja turtles, which continued the three previous play films that came out from 90 to 93, is released. At the same time, in any case, with a difference of a couple of days, a game of the same name made by the plot of this cartoon goes on sale of video game stores. Among other things, at the levels when you have to control all the turtles in turn, and such levels could not help but appear, you will be able to overcome long distances between buildings and abysses thanks to the collaboration between two of the turtles, depending on which you play for which you play.

The fighting in the game, by the way, is quite simple. It is carried out using two buttons, legs hit and weapons attack. They are races for a while and fights for a while, and in general they are not very interesting. There are also battles with bosses in the game, which, in general, are the most ordinary clashes with bosses, no matter how trite it sounds. The boss has its own health scale, and to predict what you need to do with it is quite simple. Nevertheless, fights with stone statues may seem quite complicated to you, especially at the end of the game, whose footage is not for obvious reasons, but take my word for my word – at the end each of the bosses needs your own approach, but you can easily find it, because the game itself tells you what to do what to do.

Finally, we made out all the main gameplay features, you can finally go to the other elements of the game, which I would like to talk about more about. And I’ll start with the plot, which in general I think not bad. It is almost completely based on the plot of the picture, according to which the game was made, but I personally are a little offensive to me in the game neither April O’Neill, nor Casey Jones, but they were to some extent an important part of the film. The only mention of Casey is in only one dialogue, and then a rather fragile. For the rest, as I said, the plot is presented quite well, both in the form of a KAT scenes before the start of the mission, and while passing in the form of remarks of characters telling history or commenting on the screen on the screen.

Now a few words about graphics, and you know, for the game 2007 it is good, but only in terms of filling the world around him and some models. The turtles themselves and some of their opponents do not look very attractive. They are some kind of too angular, as for me. And imagine, almost six months later, these guys will release the first assassin! It seems to be a difference of six months, but a rather significant. I also did not like the fact that the game did not want to sign up at 60 FPS, while without recording it goes to them quite stable. I checked the record from three different programs, and in all three the game issued 30 FPS when recording, which is why you are now watching a review in the usual 720r, for which I ask you to forgive me.

We move on to the sound component of the game, and you know – it is magnificent in every sense! The music in the game is quite good for itself, and it plays almost constantly, whether you will run around the jungle for Leonardo, will you jump on the roofs for the night guard, whether you jump for Don in the sewer, whether you are firing in a masquerade costume, whether you have a fuck, and I can give such examples countless! No, seriously, I really like the musical component of the game, like a voice acting. Oddly enough, but the voices that sounded in the game are also able to influence the effect of nostalgia, and the ninja turtles were no exception. Here, we can say, they gathered real voices of our childhood, because Vsevolod Kuznetsov himself speaks behind Leonardo, for Donatello – Nikita Prozorovsky, Alexander Komlev for Michelangelo, and for Rafael – Sergey Burunov! I literally heard their voices every second of the game, but everything spoiled, oddly enough, the translation of the dialogs. Some dialogs are made simply strange and illogical, as if the original lines of the text were passed through a google translator or PrOMT, and this really sad. By the way, it would be funny to hear a verse about Lambert from the Third Witcher performed by Leonardo with respect to Raphael.

And now you will think why I still have not mentioned some disadvantages or controversial moments of the game, and, perhaps, now is the time for this is the time. Personally, it seemed to me disputed by the presence of an attack not by the weapon about which I already spoke. I have never used it for the whole game once, except only for a footage, so why is this attack needed? About localization of the script without adaptation and adjusting the text, I already said, hmm, what else … Ah, I did not like the graphics, if only because it was possible to make it Sellshydinova, such as in the Ultimate Spider-Man man. About KAT-scenes in the form of poorly known models, they also slightly annoy me, because it was possible to do better. And for the most part, I can’t single out anything so controversial or bad, maybe I myself forgot about something, it’s hard to say for sure, and therefore, so as not to make a release for half an hour, I propose to move on to the results.

2007 “Turtles-Ninja Turtles”, as for me, can wear the title of the last good game about turtles. Yes, critics and players accepted it in the same way as the cartoon itself, t.e. not very, but it is impossible to deny the fact that in 2007 Ubisoft made good games, well, or in any case, they still tried to make them like that. Personally, I recall this game once in 2-3 years and pass it with pleasure, and all the passage, by the way, takes 7-8 hours, and if you don’t have much to stupid, then all 5-6, which, of course, will be a minus for someone, but as for a single play about ninja turtles, this is even a plus. I honestly and sincerely enjoy intra -game music, voice acting and gameplay, and I can say with confidence that this game can bring pleasure to the usual gamer. The game boldly gets from me 7/10 and goes to the shelf to the rest of the games that I like to play in the rush of nostalgia ..
